Spark Good Storefront Reservations

Where your community gathers, your mission can too.

Every day, Walmart stores, Sam's Clubs and Neighborhood Markets welcome neighbors from across the community. Spark Good Storefront Reservations give eligible organizations the opportunity to connect with those neighbors—raising awareness, sharing their mission and fundraising for the causes they care about.

Before submitting a reservation request, review the eligibility guidelines here.

Note: Organizations must serve the same service area as the facility where they are requesting storefront space.

  • Spark Good Storefront Reservations are available to eligible organizations that serve the same communities as the Walmart store, Sam's Club or Neighborhood Market where they are requesting space.
  • To participate, organizations must:
  • Have a Spark Good Account.
  • Be verified through Walmart's third-party verification partner, Deed.
  • Serve the same geographic area as the facility where the reservation is requested.
  • Submit requests through an authorized user of the organization's Spark Good Account.

Getting started is easy.

  • Storefront Reservations allow eligible organizations to request designated outdoor space at participating Walmart stores, Sam's Clubs and Neighborhood Markets to engage with customers and members.
  • The reservation tool allows eligible local organizations to submit online requests for the use of outside the front entrance of Walmart and Sam’s Club facilities (NOT inside the store or vestibule area).
  • Only verified organizations have access to request space outside of Walmart and Sam’s Club facilities for community awareness or fundraising. Any fundraising activities should be clearly described in the request. If you are looking to host an event that may require more space than the sidewalk, these requests are NOT facilitated through this tool. Work directly with the facility manager on these types of events
  • Organizations must have a Spark Good account on Walmart.com/nonprofits and be verified. Only authorized users of the organization’s Spark Good account may request space.
  • Organizations must review and agree to the Terms of Use and Notice of Solicitation and Distribution of Literature Rules (refer to National Rules for more information, or state-specific rules in California, Massachusetts, Mississippi and Pennsylvania).
  • Requests must be made no less than 21 days in advance of the event date. A submission of a request does not guarantee approval.
  • Affirming alignment with Spark Good program guidelines is mandatory for all reservation requests.
  • Please note: Political campaigning, lobbying and/or policy-change surveying are strictly prohibited, except where permitted by applicable state judicial decisions and subject to reasonable time, place, and manner restrictions.
  • If approved, the organization may use the designated area no more than 8 consecutive hours on three days, but no more than a total of 14 days per calendar year per facility location.
  • Note: Requests submitted for the purpose of for-profit commercial sale of products or services to the public are NOT eligible. We value your interest in collaborating with Walmart and encourage you to explore our influencer program if you are interested in other ways to engage with us.

Local decisions. Local impact.

Facility managers review reservation requests with their communities in mind, considering local needs, existing relationships and the proposed activity.

When reviewing requests, facilities consider whether the organization:

  • Meets a local need by addressing an opportunity or challenge in the community where Walmart or Sam's Club can make a meaningful difference.
  • Builds community trust by operating in compliance with applicable laws and bringing people together in positive, inclusive ways.
  • Creates meaningful engagement by clearly explaining how the organization will connect with customers or members during the event.

Additional information:

  • Facility managers determine the timing and frequency of reservation approvals.
  • Organizations will receive a decision by email no later than 7 days before the requested event.
  • No more than 15 participants may be present at the storefront at one time.
  • Approved organizations must check in through the reservation tool upon arrival.
  • Organizations may not use the Walmart or Sam's Club logo as part of their event. Approval to use storefront space does not imply sponsorship or endorsement by Walmart or Sam's Club.
  • All decisions are final.
  • Managers reserve the right to deny requests based on organizational activities or failure to comply with applicable terms and conditions.
  • All reservation requests are subject to reputational review. Submission of a request does not guarantee approval. Organizations that deny service, membership or participation on the basis of race, religion, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, veteran status or disability status may be ineligible.
